Same honey. Same gelatin. Very different follow-through.
Plenty of guys try the honey-and-gelatin habit. A spoonful, a little cup, every day. Then week two shows up and it quietly fades. Not because it's hard. Because nothing tells you it's going anywhere.
So we built the thing that does. You log a few taps a day. Taproot turns them into patterns, levels and nudges that keep you in it.
How a daily habit tends to go
A sketch of the pattern we kept seeing, not a study.
Solo, the usual tools, or us. Side by side, no spin.
We'll be fair here. Going solo costs nothing, and some guys nail it. Here's where each way tends to land.

See that last row? We lose it. We're fine with that. You're paying for the part where it doesn't fizzle out.
We kept buying the honey and the gelatin, then forgetting both by Thursday. Taproot is the fix we built for ourselves.— the Taproot team
Wins you can see, all the way down.
Every log pushes you down the root. Five levels, each with a badge and something new unlocked in your charts.
Miss a day? Your level stays put.
Streak apps punish one bad Tuesday by wiping everything. We count logged days instead, so a miss is a dent, not a demolition. Come back the next day and you even get a little comeback mark.
Here's what the opening week really feels like.
Spoiler: kinda quiet. We'd rather tell you now than have you wonder if it's broken.
How much your charts have to say, day by day
- Day 1 · Setup, 90 secondsPick what you'll log, tap in your honey and gelatin whenever you have them. You won't feel anything new. Totally normal.
- Days 2–3 · Boring, on purposeLogging takes around 20 seconds. Charts look pretty empty. Hang in, they're filling up.
- Day 3 · Topsoil badgeYour opening level. Small? Sure. Weirdly satisfying? Also yes.
- Day 4 · The nudge shows upIt's timed to when you've been logging, not some random 9 a.m. alarm.
- Days 5–6 · You'll probably miss oneEveryone does. We won't guilt-trip you. Your days logged stay logged.
- Day 7 · Weekly recapYour earliest pattern, in plain words. Something like "you log more on days you're in bed before midnight." Not life-changing. Just useful.
Who should skip us (seriously).
We'd rather lose a sale than gain an annoyed subscriber. So, real talk:
You want something to fix a health issue.
Taproot is a tracker. We're not doctors and the app gives no medical advice. Talk to yours.
You're hoping for overnight changes.
The whole point is slow, steady logging. If you want fireworks by Friday, we'll disappoint you.
You hate touching your phone daily.
It's a few taps, but it is every day. If that sounds awful, a paper note on the fridge is honestly fine.
You already never miss a day.
If you're doing great solo, keep the $4.99. Respect.
What Taproot doesn't do
- Sell you honey, gelatin or any supplement. Use whatever's in your kitchen.
- Diagnose, treat or promise anything about your body.
- Share your logs with anyone. They're yours.
- Do the habit for you. We just make it way easier to keep.
Two tickets. One's the smart move.
Half off your opening billCode ROOTED is already on. Nothing to type.
60 days to try it on.Not for you? Tell us and we send back every cent. No awkward exit survey.
Today you pay the intro price of the ticket you tap: $4.99 covers your opening month on Monthly, and $39.99 covers your opening year on Yearly. After that, Taproot renews on its own at $9.99 a month on Monthly or $79.99 a year on Yearly, until you switch it off. You can stop renewal whenever you want in your app store subscriptions, in the web dashboard, or by contacting us — [email protected]
Stuff you're probably wondering.
Do I need fancy honey or special gelatin?
Nope. Whatever you already buy is fine. Taproot only cares that you log it, not what brand is in the cupboard. We don't sell either one.
What happens when I skip a few days?
Nothing dramatic. Your logged days stay counted, your level stays, and the next log earns a comeback mark. The nudges get a bit gentler too, not louder.
How do I cancel if it's not my thing?
Turn off renewal in your app store subscriptions or the web dashboard, or just email us. Inside 60 days, ask for a refund and you'll get the full amount back.
